Kamphangala reminds Malawians wrong is wrong no matter what

A Malawi Congress Party (MCP) diehard of Mvera in Dowa district Mr. Rodgers Kamphangala, has reminded Malawians borrowing words from Bishop Martin Mtumbuka of the Roman Catholic Church-Karonga Diocese that wrong is wrong, no matter what.

Catholic Bishops facing a repeat of the 1992 Pastoral Letter by the same MCP government

Kamphangala said history is the best teacher that in 1992 the Malawi Congress Party (MCP) under Kamuzu Banda conspired to kill Catholic Bishops in Malawi for standing on truth and justice in the transition for Malawi to change for democracy.

He said history has been repeated in 2024 when the same MCP under man of God dubbed “Servant leader” has ganged up against Archbishop Thomas Luke Msusa of the Archdiocese of Blantyre for standing together with Malawians rejecting the commission of inquiry findings on the tragic plane crash that claimed the lives of Dr. Saulosi Chilima and eight others, in the Chikangawa forest in Mzimba on Monday, 10th June, 2024.

The MCP diehard said no matter what the MCP can bribe men and women of God to shut their mouths under the influence of K5 million each, God of the living will reveal Himself that he was there watching everything in the Chikangawa forest.

He said Malawians are not blind that the MCP is using threats to silence them so that they should not speak of Chilima’s death basing on the commission of inquiry findings which have not answered a question of “What really happened and who was behind it?”

Kamphangala said what Malawians are demanding is simple -truth advising the MCP government to release the black box in “justice delayed is justice denied saying to suggest that the military plane that crashed lacked the black box is like telling a child that the moon is made of butter and cheese.

He has appealed to members of the MCP that believes in justice and truth to stand up and join calls for government to release the black box warning the MCP government and President Chakwera that Malawians including the Chewas are ready to go to prison if justice is not done on Chilima’s death.

The MCP diehard said it is sad that to note that no MCP Member of Parliament has stood in Parliament demanding transparency on Chilima’s death questioning them all that are they part of those that killed Dr. Chilima and eight others, and if not, why are they silent?

“To the current MPs who have not taken a hand in the killing of Dr. Chilima and eight others, come out and tell your constituents the truth for you to campaign freely but if not, you will not be welcomed by your communities,” said Kamphangala.

He has finally expressed fears that once the truth is established on the death of Dr. Chilima and eight others, the MCP risks to be deregistered in the country as a political party advising all MCP members and supporters that are siding with the murderers of the party to mark his words, why MCP always MCP?
