The Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) whistle-stop parade in Zomba continued to draw significant attention as Hon. Bright Msaka addressed a passionate crowd at Mayaka Trading Centre. Speaking with conviction, Msaka assured the people of Zomba Chilowe Constituency that the DPP, under the leadership of Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika, is committed to addressing the pressing challenges facing Malawians today.
Hon. Msaka promised that if Professor Mutharika wins the presidency in the upcoming election on September 16 this year, the DPP government would tackle critical issues such as food insecurity, fuel shortages, and the scarcity of foreign exchange. “Malawi is not supposed to be in this state of crisis,” Msaka declared. “Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika has a proven record of stabilizing our economy, ensuring food security, and creating opportunities for all. This is the leadership Malawi needs to overcome the challenges we face today.”
He emphasized that a DPP government would work tirelessly to bring back fuel supplies, ensure the availability of forex, and promote agricultural productivity to address food shortages.
Msaka also took time to acknowledge the specific challenges facing the people of Zomba Chilowe Constituency. He assured the residents that the DPP would prioritize their needs by investing in local development projects, improving road infrastructure, and enhancing access to basic services such as healthcare and education.
“Zomba Chilowe will not be left behind,” Msaka said. “Under DPP, every community will experience growth and progress. We are committed to working hand in hand with you to build a brighter future.”
