Activist Pastor Moses Shumba-the Lion of Judah, has claimed that Billy Frederick Malata is behind arresting activists in Malawi not the Police informing Malawians that he spent 40 days at Maula Prison because of the activities of Billy Malata.
Pastor Shumba said he has arrested no even one person in his life because he knows that revenge against the other is a sin before God, revenge is not on his side but God Himself has to make a revenge on behalf of him.
He said ever since, he has no blood of evil, told someone that you will die vowing to Malawians that he cannot put someone into trouble out of obtaining huge sums of money for one to suffer and rot in prison saying God has taught him to love his neighbors.
Speaking through an audio clip, Pastor Shumba said Billy Malata has been coming to him that there is money on the table plotting to work hand in hand with the Malawi Police Service (MPS) to hunt and arrest Comrade Mtanyiwa.
Pastor Shumba said Billy Malata is doing nothing in town and has found a good job of plotting arrests of activists under the influence of money from the MCP government which is free for all, assuring him that from the 20th January, 2025 he is no longer his friend at all.
Shumba has claimed that Billy Malata is the one who has arrested Comrade Lytone Mangochi that he accommodates Comrade Mtanyiwa at his house in Karonga and when he comes to Lilongwe and Salima, he is found in the house of Bon Kalindo.
He said Police officers travelled to arrest Mangochi in Karonga in the middle of the night of 19th January, 2025 with hope that they will be arresting Comrade Mtanyiwa after receiving a tip from Malata describing the act being displayed by Malata as inhumane.
The activist said Billy Malata led a group of officers to his house at Chinsapo in Lilongwe and on that day, he was out in Blantyre for other businesses saying for God’s sake, some police officers disclosed to him that Billy Malata was behind his arrest.
“At the time of his arrest, I was the one who has been visiting him at Area 3 police station and Maula Prison, the same person arrested me and the same is plotting for the arrests of Comrade Mtanyiwa through me,” narrated Pastor Shumba.
He has again assured Billy Malata that he cannot put the life of any activist in danger, Comrade Mtanyiwa is speaking for Malawians and if it is arresting, it is the police themselves to arrest him and not through him, saying he is here to liberate Malawians just the same as Comrade Mtanyiwa.
The activist has challenged Billy Malata that he has audios of their conversations as a backup that what he is informing Malawians bears nothing but the truth and should he want to prove him wrong, he can share everything on social media platforms.
Pastor Shumba has finally advised Billy Malata to refrain from planting seeds of destruction between Alfred Gangata and Dr. Paul Gadama assuring him that there are no permanent enemies in politics that whether he likes it or not, the two will enter government together in September, 2025 under the DPP flagship led by Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika.
