Malawi Congress Party (MCP) spokesperson, Jessie Kabwira, has accused the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) of being behind the country’s current challenges.
Kabwira alleged that the DPP is sponsoring individuals to sabotage the country’s economy and infrastructure in order to discredit President Lazarus Chakwera’s administration.
According to Kabwira, the DPP’s actions are a deliberate attempt to make the current government look incompetent.
She claimed that the party is using its loyalists to disrupt the economy and create chaos, with the ultimate goal of making Chakwera’s government unpopular.
This is not the first time Kabwira has blamed the DPP for Malawi’s problems.
In recent years, she has consistently accused the party of being behind various challenges facing the country.
However, her latest accusations have sparked a heated debate, with some critics accusing her of trying to deflect attention from the current government’s failures.
The Catholic Church has also weighed in on the issue, with some bishops criticizing the MCP-led government for its handling of the economy and other issues.
They argued that the government has failed to deliver on its promises and that the country is facing numerous challenges as a result.
The DPP has not yet responded to Kabwira’s accusations, but the party has consistently denied any involvement in sabotaging the government.
The debate is likely to continue, with many Malawians eagerly waiting to see how the situation unfolds.
