Malawi students head to Morocco on scholarship
15 Students from different public and private schools will study in Morocco, courtesy of the Morocco Scholarship Programme.
Minister of Higher Education, Jessie Kabwila, expressed gratitude to the Government of the Kingdom of Morocco for their generosity in offering the scholarships.
“This gesture is a testament to the bilateral relations and cooperation between our two nations,” she said.

Moroccan Ambassador to Malawi, Abdelkader Naji, said 100 students will be sent to Morocco in the 2024/2025 academic year, with the last batch departing soon.
Naji added that the development will further strengthen their partnership in the educational sector and help boost Malawi’s economy.
The Morocco Scholarship offers students different programmes including General Medicine, Industrial Electronics, Laboratory Studies, Radiology, Tourism Management and Law.
