Human Rights Advocator Sir Charles Ben Longwe, says the State of National Address (SONA) delivered by President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera in Parliament on Friday 14th February, 2025 has proved Chakwera that he is either mentally disturbed or incompetent.
Ben Longwe said the SONA has spoken for itself that Chakwera cannot reach 16th September, 2025, his brain is not working properly, he need a serious Doctor to examine him and declare him fit to stand in the elections on the 16th September, 2025.
He said for President Chakwera to continue running the country, the country has to be sold to the highest bidders for them to take over from him claiming that as from the 16th February, 2025 to 16th September, 2025 President Chakwera is in capacitated and according to the constitution of the Republic, he must be forced to resign if he cannot resign himself honorably.
Speaking from his Hard Knocks University, Ben Longwe said the SONA itself has made Malawians to think outside the box that who is to blame for bringing madness in the country saying himself is the first one, he joined the demos of the 2019 against Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika.
Ben Longwe said the HRDC crew, Bantu Saunders Jumah, Gift Trapence, Rev. MacDonald Sembereka, Timothy Mtambo and Billy Mayaya are the ones that led Malawians from sanity in the hands of Professor Mutharika to madness in the hands of President Chakwera.
He has asked God the Almighty to forgive him for leading Malawians removing sanity to madness claiming that 2 years ago, President Chakwera appointed the HRDC to be the overseer of the failed projects appearing in Chakwera’s SONA as completed ones.
The human rights advocator said the Public Affairs Committee (PAC) is also to be blamed for removing sanity to madness saying they have been going to the State House meeting President Chakwera giving him 90 day’s ultimatum to address issues of national importance.
He said Bishops, Reverends and Sheikhs who have been going to the State House were pocketing khakhi envelops in exchange for 90 day’s ultimatum saying this was being done while Malawians were in pain and suffering urging the HRDC and PAC to address Malawians on what is next on their tables.
Ben Longwe said Bon Kalindo and madam Dr. Patricia Kaliati are also to blame for removing sanity to madness claiming that they took Dr. Saulosi Chilima from DPP to UTM and them also witnessed the signing of the MCP-UTM Alliance in Lilongwe, and today, Chilima is gone to the eternal peace.
He said in Malawi, police are backing madness to arrest innocent people and when they appear before the courts, they are granted bail advising government to open more Prisons and police cells claiming that all Malawians have turned into madness.
“Let’s take our country to be sold to the highest bidders for it to move forward, our President has been bewitched, to the conclusion that he is incompetent and mentally disturbed, he need to be removed from power,” said Ben Longwe.
He has finally gave a word of advice to those who wants to arrest him because of madness to be always reminded that madness is in all Malawians and this madness has made the country to be madness of the Chakwera’s State of the National Address (SONA).
