Ben Longwe visits Dae Young Luke Hospital for no treatment

Human Rights Advocator Sir Charles Ben Longwe’s last audio clip before he closed his eyes bidding by to this earthly world claimed to have booked an appointment with a Medical Doctor at Dae Young Luke Hospital in Lilongwe to examine his leg.

In the clip, Ben Longwe narrated that upon arriving at the hospital, he did not disembark from the vehicle which took him to that hospital after seeing strange faces waiting as if there was a presidential convoy.

He said he just turned at the Hospitals Rounder about without meeting the said Doctor alleging that some people were told that he will be visiting the Hospital and were ready for him, saying the Doctor phoned him after he has driven off from the Hospital a Kilometer away.

The Human Rights Advocator said he changed his mind to visit a certain Private Hospital in Mangochi on the trust that it has good medication advising the one receiving his audio clip not to share to anyone as he was being followed by unknown people.

“Don’t share this audio clip to someone, it is for you only,” reads the last words of Ben Longwe he has left before closing his eyes.

The sudden deaths of Sir Charles Ben Longwe has shocked many people particularly those that were tuning in to his messages from Hard Knocks University and they are pouring tributes in respect to his contributions he made to this great nation, Malawi.

President of Chilungamo Party Comrade Alhaji Imraan Jumbe, has sent heartfelt message to the nation on the passing of Charles Ben Longwe describing him as a true champion of justice and a fearless advocate for a better Malawi.

“Charles Ben Longwe’s unwavering commitment to the people’s struggle, his courage in speaking truth to power, and his relentless pursuit of justice will forever be remembered,” reads Comrade Jumbe’s writings on the wall.

He says Malawi has lost a great son, but his legacy will remain a guiding light in the citizens continued fight for a just and prosperous nation praying for Longwe’s soul to rest in eternal peace urging Malawians to honor his memory by carrying forward the cause he so passionately bought.

Comrade Alhaji Jumbe has finally extended his deepest condolences to Ben Longwe’s family, friends, and all who believed in his vision.

According to his biography, Charles Ben Longwe was born with the name Trouble Ben Ngala, Mr. J.B.C. Ngala was his father and Edith Nkorongo was her mother, they both died some years ago, all were from Nkatabay district.

Ben Longwe took the name Charles from an English man and Longwe from her grandmother, NyaLongwe, started primary school at Kachulu in Zomba and when he was in Standard 3 her mother died and went to Karonga to continue his primary education at Mwenelondo school before moving back to Zomba to Chimwalira, Chikowi and Mulunguzi Primary schools.

He did his secondary education at Chinamwali Malawi Assemblies of God Church and was ordained as a Priest and in the year 2000, he left Malawi for South Africa where he continued his church ministry and became the Founder of Today’s Anointing Ministry which has branches in Malawi and South Africa.

Charles Ben Longwe is survived by three children, he has worked together with Muvi wa Chilungamo’s President and Commander in Chief Bantu Saunders Jumah and Happy Chizaso Gondwe as freedom fighters for a better “Malawi wokomela wonse” in South Africa.
