Government has re-constituted some parastatal boards whose tenure had expired
Civil Engineer George Kajanga is the Board Chairperson of Airport Developments Limited, whose members include George Kajipatike, Steven Mauluka, Noria Kachale, Florence Kanyoni, Phyless Kachingwe, Joseph Chavula and Pastor Enson Lwesya.
Sunduzwayo Madise heads the board for the Malawi National Council of Sports, deputised by Charles Ulaya and members include Susan Namangale, Chigomezgo Nyasulu, Alufeyo Peter Chipanda Banda, Dabwitso Hara, Proud Chalira, Thumbiko Mhango, Levi Nkunika and Marthayoshi Katangwe.
A statement signed by the Comptroller of Statutory Corporation Peter Simbani shows that the other boards that have been reconstituted are those of the Malawi Housing Corporation, Malawi Digital Network Limited, Malawi College of Accountancy,Cannabis Regulatory Authority, Lilongwe Handling Company and Air Cargo Malawi Limited.
The appointments are effective April 06th, 2025.
