Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) national Publicity Secretary Shadric Namalomba, says Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika is the pangolin of the DPP and the hope of Malawians to liberate the country out of the hands of the MCP and President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera.
Namalomba said Mutharika as Pangolin he needs protection from the party on matters of security claiming that being the pangolin of the party enemies of progress are not sleeping but are devising strategies on how to take away his life for the DPP to go to the elections without a presidential candidate on the 16th September, 2025 elections.
He said DPP members and supporters are not complaining of Professor Mutharika’s missing in their eyes saying they know the situation which is in the country that democracy has gone to the dogs but the ones that are asking his whereabouts are members of the MCP because he is a threat to the party.
Speaking in one of the radio stations, Namalomba said Professor Mutharika went quietly to South Africa, the party did not want to tell Malawians of his trip afraid that anything can happen to him as the same happened to Dr. Saulosi Chilima.
Namalomba said the month of June, 2024 will be remembered in the country’s history, the nation lost prominent Lawyer Ralph Kasambala, Dr. Saulosi Chilima and eight others, and as such, the party thought it wise to keep Mutharika’s trip to South Africa very confidential.
He said the party is expecting Professor Mutharika to be back in the country quietly in the same way he left the country and he will launch the DPP manifesto ahead of the much-anticipated 16th September, 2025 elections.
The DPP Publicity Secretary has assured Malawians that Professor Mutharika is in good health, he is meeting SADC Heads of Government and business people on the good way of sustaining democracy in Malawi while the MCP led government is taking the same democracy to one party state and dictatorship.
He said the DPP is all aware that there are some other Malawians that are wishing Professor Mutharika to be dead today for President Chakwera to go with no competitor on the 16th September, 2025 elections.
‘God is keeping Mutharika in good health, we will do our best that God continues protecting him up to the 16th September, 2025 to fulfill the mission sent by God to liberate Malawi from MCP destructions,” said Namalomba.
He has concurred with everyone in Malawi who wants to know the life status of the former President Professor Mutharika saying it is easy to tell Malawians but tomorrow, the enemies of progress will find their own way of eliminating his life, saying matters of security are priority number one.
On the issue of Smartmatic, Namalomba said opposition parties have made it clear that they don’t want Smartmatic in the country but Mec and MCP are the ones that are working together to use the machines for their own benefit, specifically for President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera.
Namalomba has finally assured Malawians that are in pain and suffering for no better tomorrow that proven leadership is coming with the DPP and Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika on the 16th September, 2025.
