A Concerned Citizen of Malawi Mrs. Elizabeth Kaliza Banda of Area 51 in Lilongwe, has backed Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika for making a strong decision of not attending DPP 2025 manifesto launch held at the Mount Soche Hotel in Blantyre on Sunday.
Kaliza Banda has claimed that Professor Mutharika is MCP target number one to be killed and he need to be protected at all cost even not to come out for campaign meetings because all the MCP eyes are on him that they quest to bounce back into government will be almost impossible if Mutharika is alive.
She said beefing up security for Professor Mutharika is a must following allegations that guns were distributed to MCP thugs and at Mponela in Dowa, there was gun shootings after thugs ambushed Alfred Gangata’s convoy from Ntchisi, a DPP minibus was torched in the shooting.
She said there have been reported incidents to police of MCP thugs terrorizing, hacking, threatening, and intimidating innocent people and activist Sylvester Namiwa bruised leaving him half-dead in Lilongwe, a MCP thug deflating tyres of opposition MPs right inside the Parliament building premises, the MCP has not taken any action against these thuggish behaviors.
The citizen has thanked the DPP for tightened security of Professor Mutharika during Mutharika’s presentation of nomination papers in Lilongwe claiming that the devil was not given any chance to be close to the country’s hope for 16th September, 2025 elections liberator.
She said Professor Mutharika has already been campaigned by millions of Malawians rating him as statesman claiming that he is a man of peace, he left quietly to his page House in Mangochi after losing the 2020 presidential elections, there was no war in Malawi beside him having the capacity to start war in Malawi.
Kaliza has claimed that Professor Mutharika is being insulted left and right by the MCP and the public broadcaster-MBC but at no time he has hit back at them and interestingly, Malawians are the ones that are hitting back on his behalf.
She said skyrocketing prices of essential goods, man-made hunger crisis by MCP officials, empty MCP promises, no hope for a better tomorrow with President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera and the MCP, are enough for Malawians to vote for Mutharika even in his absence.
“President Chakwera’s silence on matters affecting Malawians in their everyday life situations, is enough campaign for Professor Mutharika to be voted into government on the 16th September, 2025 elections,” said Kaliza Banda.
Echoing with Kaliza, Comrade Ntanyiwa of Limpopo FM online radio station, said Malawians have seen the works of Professor Mutharika and Dr. Joyce Banda speaking for them and no need for their manifestos, the people are the witnesses.
Comrade Ntanyiwa said Malawians have proved for themselves that their country was in the hands of a learner driving it but this time, they will choose experience to bail the country out of man-made hunger and economic woos.
“Only two people Professor Mutharika and Dr. Joyce Banda have the necessary experience to bail out the country from abstract poverty to prosperity,” he said.
He has finally advised Malawians never and ever to waste their time voting for President Chakwera and his running mate Engineer Vitumbiko Mumba claiming that their servant leadership is only on paper but not action on the ground.
