Some Malawians as monitored through their contributions in various social media platforms took their time to send threatening remarks warning the new government of the DPP and President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika that they will go to the streets holding demonstrations if Richard Chimwendo Banda is granted court bail.
The threatening remarks were being made following MCP panga wielding thugs who were granted bail by the High Court of Malawi restraining the police from re arresting them, many Malawians are describing this bail as very unrealistic speaking for itself that some court Judges are still working with the MCP.
Army Generals and Police commissioners who were redeployed to serve in various security institutions across the country for defending MCP panga wielding thugs terrorizing and hacking innocent people in Malawi, were also granted court bail restraining government from redeploying them.
Appearing in court on Monday, many Malawians thought that it will be the usual business of granting bail to the suspects including Richard Chimwendo Banda who is answering to the charge of attempted murder of one MCP member Frank Chiwanda in 2021.
Many Malawians have faulted the justice system in Malawi for favoring those that have money observing that the poor people are the ones that are being sent to prison a development which is worrisome in the justice delivery.
Writing on his face book page, Hon. Lawrence Chakakala Chaziya said in 1958, the government of that time arrested a lot of MCP leaders including Dr. Hastings Kamuzu Banda but this did not stop MCP supporters from supporting it saying this made the MCP strong.
A Malawi Congress Party (MCP) diehard of Mvera in Dowa district Mr. Rodgers Kamphangala, said MCP leaders of 1958 were arrested by the colonial government of the whites because they were fighting for independence and freedom of their country.
Kamphangala said MCP of President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera was fighting for servant leadership on paper, stealing money in government coffers for mansions, lodges and Guest houses in towns, they did not have the welfare of citizens at heart.
He said the MCP of President Chakwera should brace for more arrests of its senior members for taking Malawians for granted while them were busy looting public resources in government for their own personal gains.
The MCP diehard has assured Chakakala Chaziya and all Malawians that the works of some MCP senior members thieving in government are speaking for them today, advising members and supporters of the MCP never and ever feeling mercy for these arrested MCP individuals.
“MCP members and supporters will continue supporting the party and not supporting thieves of the party who have destroyed the country through their criminal activities,” said Kamphangala.
He has appealed to all those that benefited from stolen money in government shared to them to be the first ones in giving morale to the arrested thieves that they are not alone and those that have benefited nothing, this is time for rainy season, make use of the rain for various agricultural produces.
