Hichilema Accepts Nomination for 2026 Re-Election, Pledges Unity and Peace for Zambia

The President stated that his administration would continue pursuing a vision of a united, inclusive and prosperous Zambia where every citizen has an equal opportunity to succeed regardless of background.

President Hichilema urged citizens to embrace peace, dialogue and unity ahead of the elections.
“We must choose peace over hatred and dialogue over protests,” he said.
