The Malawi Enterprise Development Fund (MEDF) says it is set to disburse about K100 billion to underserved Malawians before the end of this month.Investigative Report: How Nir Ges Obtained a Diplomatic Passport in Malawi
In an interview, MEDF Chief Executive Officer Kayisi M’bwana Sadala appealed to cooperatives and individuals to repay their loans to enable more people to benefit from the fund.
M’bwana Sadala warned that the fund is committed to taking action against those failing to repay the loans, saying this will help MEDF recover more funds across the country.

“The fund is prioritising two categories of loans: group lending ranging from K250,000 to K10 million, and individual loans of up to K250 million,” said Sadala.
