Speaking during the festival on Saturday, Malawi’s Minister of Natural Resources and Climate Change, Patricia Wisikes, said the government highly values partnerships that promote unity, cultural understanding, and cooperation among nations.

“This festival reflects the warm and growing relationship between Malawi and Korea. As a government, we remain committed to partnerships that encourage mutual respect, cultural exchange, and shared development,” she said.

Park said the festival was not only designed to showcase Korean traditions and heritage, but also to create an opportunity for Malawians and Koreans to celebrate diversity, friendship, and mutual understanding through cultural performances, games, and interactive activities.
