Political activist Bon Kalindo, says he is following up a case in which an Indian national Maulana, was granted court bail in dubious circumstances at Darton Magistrate Court in Limbe, Blantyre .

He said the same Indian is on record having threatening his worker from Bvumbwe in Thyolo to drop the case and he did so, to please his master beside receiving severe corporal punishment.
Speaking through an audio clip while giving updates, Kalindo said an Indian was arrested, he appeared in court on Wednesday where the Magistrate ruled that he will hear his bail application on Friday after pleading guilty to the charges levelled against him.Bon Kalindo, The DC: A voice of criticism and controversy
He said his lawyers on the same afternoon of Wednesday went to the Magistrate to release the suspect so that he can go home to prepare for slaughtering his livestock, and was released.
The Activist said the bail which was granted to this Indian national is speaking for itself that money exchanged hands claiming that if he was a poor man, he would have been remanded at Chichiri prison waiting for his sentence.

He said his initiative ” Operation Bwenza ndalama zanga” has received support from government, ministers and Area 30 that it is one way of ending corruption which is deep rooted in Malawi.

He said from Immigration, “Operation Bwenza ndalama zanga,” will go to the Malawi Revenue Authority (MRA) where a customer is charged for Customs Clearance Certificate which is free for a motorcycle or vehicle.

He said for the arrangements of police and MRA he will announce the dates when this operation will start after done with Immigration officers saying those who are so corporative and are paying back the money, he is protecting their identities and those not corporative, there names are being sent to Minister of Homeland Security Peter Mukhitho and his Deputy Norman Paulosi Chisale.

Kalindo has claimed that all the 22 officers are still there at Makanjira while working with the very same community which set their houses ablaze describing this as not a healthy environment.
