NBS Bank Pumps K10 Million into Northern Region Football Bonanza

In a demonstration of its unwavering commitment to developing sports in Malawi, NBS Bank has invested K10 million into a thrilling football bonanza featuring five Northern Region Super League teams.
The tournament is scheduled to take place at Rumphi Stadium from Friday to Sunday.
During the sponsorship unveiling ceremony held at NBS Bank’s Mzuzu premises, Service Centre Manager Aaron Gumbo emphasized the bank’s dedication to fostering the growth of football in the country.

“Our support for this bonanza is a testament to our continued commitment to developing the game in Malawi. By providing a platform for these talented teams to showcase their skills, we are investing in the future of our national football team,” Gumbo remarked.
Alexander Ngwala, Chairperson of the organizing committee, assured the sponsors that the funds would be utilized transparently and efficiently to ensure a successful tournament.
The five participating teams are Moyale Barracks, Mzuzu City Hammers, Karonga United, Chitipa United, and newcomers Songwe Border United.
