NFCAM Welcomes Wedson Nyirenda

The National Football Coaches Association of Malawi (NFCAM) has welcomed FCB Nyasa Big Bullets head coach Wedson Nyirenda into its membership, describing his arrival as a major opportunity for the growth and development of local coaches.
NFCAM chairperson Aubrey Nankhuni said Malawian coaches stand to benefit significantly from Nyirenda’s vast experience and technical knowledge, especially because of his high-level coaching qualifications.
Nankhuni highlighted that the Zambian tactician holds a CAF Pro License, a prestigious coaching qualification that is currently not held by any other coach in Malawi.FAM to Roll Out CAF A Licence Coaching Course
“Having someone with such experience and qualifications among us is a great opportunity for our coaches. They can learn a lot from him and improve their technical abilities,” Nankhuni said.

Speaking after the welcome, Nyirenda expressed his appreciation for the gesture and pledged to respect and follow the association’s rules and regulations.
The experienced coach said he was ready to share his knowledge with fellow coaches, particularly young and upcoming trainers who are eager to develop their careers.

“I am happy to be part of this association. My experience is available to anyone who wants to learn, especially the young coaches I work with. I will always be ready to assist whenever needed,” he said.
Nyirenda joined FCB Nyasa Big Bullets in June this year and brought with him years of coaching experience from Zambia and other football environments.
His appointment has raised expectations among football followers that his presence in Malawi will contribute not only to Bullets’ success but also to the wider development of the country’s coaching standards.
