The parliamentary meeting, scheduled to run from 7 July to 31 July at the Parliament Building in Lilongwe, is expected to focus on strengthening accountability and addressing key national development issues.

Speaking to MIJ Online, Mbewe said the session presents an important opportunity for legislators to respond to the country’s most pressing concerns through meaningful debate and policy action.

The Third Meeting of the 52nd Session is also expected to consider various legislative and oversight matters as Parliament continues its constitutional mandate of lawmaking, representation, and holding the Executive accountable.
