President Lazarus Chakwera says Malawians must find a reason and will to believe that things can change in this country amidst the state of distress they are going through.
He was speaking during the National Day of Prayers at the Bingu International Convention Centre in Lilongwe today.
Chakwera has since asked Malawians to emulate the determination to win that both Argentina and France showed in the 2022 World Cup final in Qatar.
“We have a reason to believe that God is with us. We must dig deep to find the will to find a way. Let us never ever give up,” says Chakwera.
The prayers sought God’s intervention on several challenges that Malawians faced in the year ending including corruption and pandemics, among others.
It was held under theme: Malawi be strong & take heart; God is our refuge and fortress.
