
Former Judiciary Spokesperson Mvula Fine 30 Months
Former judiciary spokesperson, Mlenga Mvula has been sentenced to 30 months in prison for abuse of office.
The sentence starts from the day he was convicted
On 29 November 2022, High Court Judge, Sylvester Kalembera convicted the former Judiciary Spokesperson and United Methodist Church Pastor, Daniel Mhone.

Mhone has been given a suspended sentence.
The two were found guilty of corruptly soliciting money and other favours in the names of High Court Judges and the Attorney General’s office
