The Malawi Broadcasting Corporation (MBC) has officially announced the nominees for the 2024 Best Entertainers of the Year awards. The much-anticipated list was unveiled today, November 25, 2024, highlighting some of the country’s top talents across various entertainment categories.
The nominations for Secular Artist of the Year (Female) include:
Jetu
Temwa
Emmie Deeno
For the Secular Artist of the Year (Male), the nominees are:
Fada Moti
Eli Njuchu
Driemo
In the category of Secular Song of the Year, the following tracks have been nominated:
Controller
Tempolale
Kutali
Speaking at the unveiling ceremony, MBC spokesperson Chisomo Mwamadi emphasized the importance of public participation in the voting process.
“There are eight categories in total, and we encourage all Malawians to cast their votes for their favorite entertainers. Voting starts today, November 25, and will close on December 14, 2024,” said Mwamadi.
The annual awards aim to recognize and celebrate outstanding achievements in Malawi’s entertainment industry. This year’s nominees reflect the growing diversity and creativity within the sector, showcasing the talent that has kept audiences captivated throughout 2024.
Fans can cast their votes through designated platforms provided by MBC, with winners set to be announced during a grand ceremony later in December.
