The Defenders Group for Good Governance, says it fears for bloody elections soon after Mec Chairperson Justice Annabel Mtalimanja will declare President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera the winner saying this will be against the will of the people.
The Defenders Group has claimed that Army Commander General Dr. Paul Velentino Phiri and Inspector General of Police Madam Yolamu are MCP affiliated and there’s no way the two would allow President Chakwera to lose the elections.
The Group said the two powerful security officers will do all of what they can to side with President Chakwera and MCP against those that will be protesting in the streets showing dissatisfaction with the results on the claims that the elections have been rigged.
Speaking through an audio clip, Blessings Chaima Lozalio, has asked patriotic Malawians not to treat the audio in circulation as useless making rounds across the country stating plans of President Chakwera to remain in government after 16th September, 2025 with the help of Mec Chairperson, Army Commander and Inspector General of Police.
Chaima has asked Malawians to open their eyes that the MCP is all aware that Malawians are against them and there’s no way they can win the September, 2025 elections, why are they keeping on pronouncing their MCP slogan “Boma ndilomweli Silikuchoka!
He said senior MCP members including MCP Secretary General Richard Chimwendo Banda is on record having vowed that there is no way the MCP can lose the elections saying President Chakwera will rule the country to 2030 saying this is clearly speaking for itself that MCP is standing on a hard rock.
The activist said the Army General and Police chief will use soldiers to do everything possible to defend the MCP and President Chakwera against demonstrators to restore order because they know that once the MCP loses elections, them too, are gone.
He said as all writings are being seen on the wall that President Chakwera will lose miserably in the elections, MCP is not shaken, they are not for peace saying what matters for them is to protect their positions and not the blood of people from being spilled in the streets.
“MCP is a party of death, they are not for peace, they are for war to make sure that the party don’t go out of government afraid of the consequencies,”
He has warned Malawians that if President Chakwera continue ruling the country to 2030, Malawi will become a desert advising Malawians not to make any mistake of voting for Chakwera and not accepting the declaration by Mec that Chakwera has won the elections.
Chaima said for the sake of protecting and defending Malawi from the hands of crooks and mafias, it is up to the junior soldiers to accept or not orders from above to fight the citizens in the streets against the declaration of Chakwera by Mec as President of the country.
He has finally urged Malawians to prepare for themselves against the declaration of Chakwera as President saying in Mozambique, the people have succeeded in fighting government security apparatus, why not Malawi?
