Hundreds of people welcomed Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika in Mzuzu braving the cold weather speaking for itself that proven leadership has come to stay and a warning to the Malawi Congress Party (MCP) government to start packing up their time of being in government is over.
People had to wait for about 4 hours bringing traffic to a standstill in Mzuzu that the Lion of Malawi is coming until at around 7;30 PM when the motorcade carrying Professor Mutharika was seen circling around the Mzuzu Roundabout greeting people while APM was waving his hands from the vehicle.
Even though, Professor Mutharika did not speak to the big crowd welcoming him because it was too dark, people went to their respective houses that the one to be their liberator has arrived in Mzuzu safely after passing through the famous Chikangawa forest in Mzimba.
Speaking during his whistle-stops campaign tour at Kasungu boma, Jenda and Nkhamemnya trading centres, Professor Mutharika said he has come out to do two main things’ to rescue Malawi from the hands of MCP destroyers and building a new Malawi with his proven leadership.
Social media influencer Julius Zimwanda Mithi writing on his face book page has assured the MCP that no one in Malawi want them to rule over their dead bodies including the departed Dr. Saulosi Klaus Chilima saying MCP has gone to the grave.
Leonard Chimbanga has questioned the MCP why strategizing on entering government through making plans of wishing one dead assuring the MCP that they are not God saying God is the only person who knows the life span of an individual.
“Let’s see how far you will go, I am predicting that your party will not last another 6 years, you lack what it takes, phuma too much,” reads Chimbanga’s writings on the wall.
Counsel Silvester Ayuba James who is an MCP diehard, has faulted MCP Media Team wrong describing them as dunderheads underrating Professor Mutharika that he cannot hold a party meeting because he is sick not knowing they are playing into APM’s game by doing that.
Ayuba James says the speculation that APM is sick created curiosity in people to come out and see how a presumably dead man is on the streets, and the large crowds are now confusing even their own MCP supporters.
“If he was unwell, why not people notice his absence by themselves, other than making his un wellness,” reads Ayuba James’s writings on the wall.
He says for 5 years, the whole MCP Media Team has been concentrating on advocating for “Boma ndilomweli silikuchoka” failing even to market the so many life-impacting irrigation projects the MCP government has initiated and accomplished and today, they are all in hiding and quiet.
And on his part, Social commentator Onjezani Kenani, has asked Professor Mutharika to go back to the Page House in Mangochi claiming that Malawians are now fully convinced that Mutharika is alive and not dead as the MCP was praying for his early grave.
