A concerned citizen of Malawi Vinnie Shabani has written on his face book page food for thought that the fuel and forex woes the country is currently in, has a source and that source is former President who is Malawi Congress Party (MCP) President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera.

Shabani said Dr. Lazarus Chakwera will be remembered by millions of Malawians as a man who contributed to Malawi’s forex woes by making over 27 international trips within his first two years of Presidency after his election into office on the 23rd June, 2020.
He said President Chakwera visited countries across Africa, Europe, the Middle East, the USA saying he is averaged to have made at least one foreign trip per month.

“Chakwera’s travels faced criticism for high costs estimated in the millions of US Dollars and large delegations,” said Shabani.
Mrs. Elizabeth Kaliza Banda of Area 51 in Lilongwe has concurred with Shabani reminding Malawians that Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika at the time he was ousted from government in June, 2020 he left one million US Dollars as forex and this forex was spent by President Chakwera through his extravagant travels for personal gains and not for Malawi and its citizens.

Kaliza Banda said President Chakwera announced austerity measures to control government expenditures on paper saying he and his ministers were exempted from his austerity measures and the measures were only meant to deceive Malawians that he was a servant leader.
She said at one time, Chakwera travelled by connecting countries Zimbabwe to Mozambique, Mozambique to Namibia, Namibia to Rome ( Italy), Italy to Germany where he found himself riding a bicycle describing President Chakwera as a waste of time to Malawians.

The citizen said it is very unfortunate that today the MCP is holding a press conference blaming the DPP for abusing forex while knowing pretty well that their President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera is the one who abused the forex left by Professor Mutharika.
Kaliza Banda has warned Moses Kunkuyu that he has now been made by the MCP to be their Spokesperson on issues of blaming the new government for MCP created problems that he should not forget that Malawians are anxiously waiting for answers from his mouth on the missing of black box and Allan Witika who was shot dead through the mouth.

The citizen has blamed the new government for not concluding cases faced by MCP suspects in court advising it to establish special courts to handle all corruption, abuse of office, money laundering cases in as soon as yesterday for all the culprits to pay back what they stole in government.
Kaliza Banda said MCP by today should have been escorted to the grave with many of senior members behind bars, they stole billions for lodges and mansions in towns appealing to government to grant all MCP thieves amnesty of 90 days to pay back what they stole in government and after the expiry of 90 days confiscate their property Forfeiting it to government for sale to recover stolen money thereby making the country to have enough forex and fuel.
