Mlaka Maliro Hits Back

Estranged Enlightened Christian Gathering (ECG) Jesus Nation Pastor McDonald Mlaka Maliro has hit back at critics meddling in his private life.

Last week Mlaka Maliro announced that he has stepped down as ECG pastor citing family grounds and that he wants to re-activate his music career.

Soon after his announcement, Mlaka Maliro released a track titled Vinyo Watha in which people had their own meaning behind the song.

Others assumed that Mlaka Maliro is attacking his former boss Prophet Shepherd Bushiri and his church in his recent song.

In reaction, ECG leader released a statement clarifying the reason behind Mlaka’s resignation as an ECG pastor saying his wife, (Mlaka’s) was put on discipline without divulging much details.

Today, Mlaka Maliro posted a picture of his wife and himself with a proverb caption.

“Phokoso la Achule sililetsa Mkango kumwa madzi,” wrote Maka before blessing his followers that they should achieve all their goals in Jesus name.“`
