Chakwera Says Government Mitigating Economic Shocks

President Dr Lazarus Chakwera has told global media Aljazeera that the government is using a social cash transfer programme in mitigating the effects of economic challenges induced by COVID 19 and the Ukraine-Russia conflict.

Speaking to Talk to Aljazeera Programme, Dr Chakwera said he is optimistic that the economic situation will return to normal with the measures put in place now.
