Government has requested the South African government to arrest and extradite a Malawian based in that country known as Ben Longwe.
Director of Public Prosecution, Steven Kayuni and Police Publicist, Harry Namwaza, have confirmed the development.
The government’s request follows a warrant of arrest that was obtained by law enforcement agencies for cyber-related offences and threats against judicial officers and legal practitioners in Malawi.
Of late cyber-related crimes have been prosecuted in Malawian Courts in a bid to deter threats, character assassination and peddling of lies on social media.
