Political activist Bon Kalindo, has encouraged Vice President of the Republic of Malawi who is also President of Odyazake alibe Mlandu Party Dr. Michael Usi to continue exposing MCPs corruption syndrome in government.
Kalindo said the MCP through President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera has been shielding corrupt individuals of the MCP from arrests and prosecutions because of their loyalty to the party while treating members of the opposition parties particularly the DPP- as the most corrupt.
He said since he started revealing corruption activities in government, the MCP government has been devising ways and means to get Dr. Usi arrested and prosecuted in a court of law as one way of silencing him.
Speaking through an audio clip, Kalindo has thanked the High Court of Malawi for throwing out an application by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) to arrest Dr. Usi to name individuals suspected of indulging in corruption in government.
Kalindo has wondered why the ACB was acting with speed to give Dr. Usi two days to prove that individuals of the MCP are corrupt and to name suspected individuals behind the malpractice in government.
He said it is not the ACB which is working hard to arrest and prosecute Dr. Usi but the MCP which is working very hard to block him from naming individual members who are involved in corruption in government.
“Continue to speak nothing but the truth that this MCP government is rotten and President Chakwera himself is corrupt, the courts are with you,” said Kalindo.
Memories are still fresh that the ACB through its former Director General Ms. Martha Chizuma submitted 83 corruption suspected names to President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera for benefiting from Zuneth Sattar corruption basket fund.
Instead of acting on the report, President Chakwera had to sat on the ACB report by shielding 82 suspects mentioned only revealing to the nation one name, the late Dr. Saulosi Chilima who while alive was being seen attending to court cases.
President Chakwera ever since he was elected into government in June, 2020 he has been promising to clear the rubble in governmenti but he has failed for 5 years of his rule and instead, he has become the rubble himself.
Vice President Dr. Michael Usi has been telling Malawians that some other people in government have become millionaires over a night claiming that there’s rampant corruption in government but on the contrary views, the MCP is the one that has been responding to Dr. Usi’s allegations.
