The Lilongwe Asian Business Community (LABC) is expected to distribute food items to people affected by Cyclone Freddy in the Southern Region of Malawi.
Every pack contains 10 kgs cream of maize flour, a packet of sugar, 1 kg rice packet, soya pieces, 400 grammes of salt, 40 grammes of tea leaves, 500 mls cooking oil, 90 grammes soap bar and a litre of juice
Secretary for LABC, Mukesh Makadia, said this is part of their corporate social responsibility.

Makadia thanked all the communities that have supported the LABC with the relief items and asked other well-wishers to emulate the gesture.
The foodstuffs are worth K20 million.
