She made the remarks Tuesday, when she officially launched the construction of Chunzu Community Day Secondary School (CDSS) which will be constructed under SEED project.

Speaking to Malawi News Agency (MANA), Daudi was very grateful with the development saying communities there have, for so long, needed a secondary school.
“The upcoming CDSS will be a motivation to children in this area especially girls to proceed with school after primary level,” she said.
Daudi who is also the Member of Parliament (MP) for Dowa South East said as a member of parliament for the area, she will ensure of more development projects.
“We will try to add more school blocks, teacher houses and to construct girls’ hostels for our girls safe being so that they should concentrate in studies,” she said.
Director of Education Youth and Sports for Dowa, Christopher Kumikundi said the project will increase the number of students who will access secondary education and reduce the distance learners in the area travel to access a secondary school.

Construction of the school, whose structures include two school blocks of two classes each, two teacher houses, one science laboratory, toilets for both teachers and learners, borehole and office space is expected to take nine months
