Lwala says Dimba, Ching’oma are good leaders in MCP

By Vincent Gunde

Social Commentator Dr. Samuel Lwala, has described newly two appointed Ministers in the MCP Chakwera’s led government Peter Dimba and Ezekiel Ching’oma as good leaders but their coming into cabinet will not change the face of Malawi Congress Party (MCP).

Lwala said had the two found their way into the first cabinet President Chakwera appointed in July, 2020 MCP would have now been loved by all claiming that these two have special wisdom to drive the party in the interest of all but have come in late and have joined the bandwagon of failed MCP government.

He said the two Dimba and Ching’oma are typical MCP and have the love for the party, they are unmovable and are always serving the interest of people, they have no cases to answer, wishing them that after being appointed ministers the best they could do is rejecting the offers.

Speaking through an audio clip, Dr. Lwala said he feel pity with these two smart newly appointed ministers Dimba and Ching’oma, they have come in late after their fellow former ministers and MCP government is preparing for their exit in government and their impact will not be seen.

Dr. Lwala has reminded Malawians that at one time Dimba resigned as Chairperson of the Legal Affairs committee of Parliament in protest over dubious bills passing into law in Parliament and that his party was interfering in the affairs of his committee in Parliament.

He said it is shameful that President Chakwera is still keeping some ministers who don’t deserve to be ministers at all in the names of Sam Kawale, Khumbize Kandodo-Chiponda, Sosten Gwengwe, Dr. Kenneth Zikhale Ng’oma and others, asking President Chakwera what these ministers are doing in his government warranting him to maintain them?

The Social Commentator said he was expecting that Chakwera will announce the firing of Army Commander General Dr. Paul Velentino Phri, Inspector General of Police madam Yolamu and National Intelligence Service (NIS) boss Dokani Ngwira but to his surprise, the three are serving him better than Malawians.

He said he was expecting President Chakwera to speak on the commission of inquiry findings which he instituted to investigate circumstances surrounding the tragic death of Dr. Saulosi Chilima and eight others, but he failed to explain.

“President Chakwera must go, his brain is frozen, why failing to explain to Malawians of the findings of the commission of inquiry,” said Lwala.

He has faulted wrong President Chakwera’s speech that he is wanting things to move in Malawi with only seven months to go before elections and after failing the same for 4 years, advising Malawians that they should expect nothing from Chakwera, he must go.
