President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera Malawians are not ready to forgive him.
Political activist Bon Kalindo, says President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera deserve no forgiveness claiming that he has ruled the country out of greed that he closed his ears to people offering constructive criticism to him.
Kalindo has asked President Chakwera since when did he realize that his HI-5 promises were not fulfilled demanding Malawians to forgive him? Advising President Chakwera to go back to the drawing board and see where exactly he went wrong for Malawians not to trust him anymore.
He has claimed that since 1994 the MCP government has made Malawians to sail through pain and sufferings more than any other government in the country observing that President Chakwera has ruled the country with an iron feast taking all that were giving him good advices as enemies of his government.
Speaking through an audio clip, Kalindo said if President Chakwera realized that his promises were not fulfilled, he would have resigned a per his words “if I fail to rule Malawi in two years, I will resign” reminding him that 4 years have gone without resigning.
Kalindo said this could be a good time for him to resign and save his reputation and dignity from further destruction and not asking Malawians for forgiveness claiming that poor Malawians are not ready to forgive him and give him another 5 years of continuing destroying Malawi.
He said asking for forgiveness is a language of a mafia after seeing that elections are between mouth and nose, President Chakwera wants to side with the suffering Malawians as part of them to give them comfort while seeking for votes.
“Even in the Holy Bible, one can forgive the wrong doer for 72 times, but for Chakwera, he deserves one- day forgiveness, himself has failed to forgive others,” said Kalindo.
He has appealed to opposition party leaders not to allow Smartmatic machine be used in Malawi saying counting of votes and transmission will be done manually from Constituency to District to Tally Centre advising them not to tolerate nonsense from Mec.
The activist has claimed that it is only Smartmatic machine that will declare President Chakwera the winner in the September, 2025 elections but through manual counting and transmission of votes, Chakwera will lose miserably.
