Lawyer Silvester Ayuba James says President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera’s weak leadership is paying the price for MCP panga wielding thugs who are being arrested and rearrested after being granted court bail to answer various criminal charges committed.
Ayuba James said President Chakwera and his MCP government failed in their 5 years of office to arrest and prosecute those DPP youth who hacked activist Billy Mayaya and others, in the full view of the police.
He said President Chakwera failed to discipline his youth who were armed with pangas allowing them to display their stupidity by declaring Lilongwe a- no go zone to activists and opposition political parties from holding peaceful protests.
Writing on his face book page, Ayuba James said today, it is seeming that panga wielding has been started by the MCP forgetting that yesterday, it was the DPP harboring thugs who were terrorizing and hacking peaceful protestors in the streets.
Ayuba James said President Chakwera and his government would have prosecuted those that have been involved in thuggish activities saying had it been he did that, Dr. Jessie Kabwila could not have cried aloud that the arrested suspects are being violated for their rights to freedom after court bail.
He said if President Chakwera and his government made their actions to speak for them through arresting and prosecuting those suspected to have terrorized and hacked innocent people in Lilongwe and surrounding areas, history of the pangas could have been for the DPP and not MCP.
The Lawyer said action changes narrative- the MCP government could have done what the DPP is doing today, and not running the country as a church leaving everything to God the Almighty to punish the offenders observing that even in the church, one is forced to step down.
“You have seen how the DPP is punishing your children, I am not saying the suspects committed a crime, the court will decide for them,” reads Ayuba James writings on the wall.
He said president Dr. Lazarus Chakwera was seen sleeping on duty, he did not want to show that MCP youth were doing bad, he let the history of the MCP to go bad repeating itself with memories of the past that MCP is the party of death.
Ayuba James said President Chakwera was a person gifted to be receiving constructive advices from many wishing him to run the country for the betterment of all but, but he did not know what he was doing, and this has made him and the MCP to be out of government.
