President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika has amazed millions of Malawians that casted benefit of doubts that he will deliver on his four priorities of Food, Fuel, Fertilizer and Forex within a very short period of time soon after he was ushered into power on the 16th September, 2025 elections.
The doubtful Thomas are now speechless to see an old man delivering what the youthful President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera and his MCP failed in five years of power, promising the good future for the country with President Professor Mutharika on the driving seat.
With the MCP looting public resources of over K3.4 trillion in just only three months to the 16th September, 2025 general elections and national debts rising to K28 trillion in 2025 from K4.1 trillion left by Professor Mutharika and his DPP led government in 2020, millions of Malawians labelled the DPP to have inherited a government with all resources looted.
After noting that time was running out for the DPP led government to fix fuel woos in the country, the HRDC which many allegedly believe that it is an armed wing of the MCP, threatened to hold violent protests dubbed peaceful if the government will not address the challenges in as soon as yesterday.
Within three months of President Professor Mutharika’s rule, the country has seen all fuel reserve stations stocking enough fuel, price stability of maize with other vulnerable families benefiting from Farm Input Subsidy Programme (FISP) and fertilizer being sold at K10,000 per bag to the registered beneficiaries from K135,000.
President Mutharika having addressed the first three of the Four’s priority, is busy working on forex so that the country can have sufficient money to be importing goods and services at ease in a process of rebuilding the country from MCP and President Chakwera’s destruction.
Speaking after inspecting one centre where fertilizer is being sold to the registered beneficiaries at K10,000 per bag in Machinga district, Senior Chief Nkoola praised President Professor Mutharika that he promises action not just words.
Chief Nkoola said he made a visit to the distribution centre to appreciate if the people are accessing a bag of 50 Kilogram fertilizer at K10,000 and he saw this by himself that Mutharika has no competitor saying what he promised has become a reality.
“I am very thankful to President Professor Mutharika, I did not know and believe that what he promised was true, long live President Mutharika,” said Chief Nkoola while demonstrating carrying a bag of fertilizer on his head.
A concerned citizen of Malawi of Are 51 in Lilongwe Mrs. Elizabeth Kaliza Banda, said the DPP led government is prioritizing on food in every household unlike the MCP of President Chakwera which was prioritizing on pocket development in Boma ndilomweli silikuchoka.
Kaliza said had it been that the MCP and President Chakwera won the presidential elections, by this November and December, 2025 a pail of 5L maize could have been bought at K10,000 and a bag of maize at K100,000 but thanks God, they are out of government.
She has urged MCP supporters to join President Professor Mutharika in developing the country from the abstract poverty left by President Chakwera to prosperity claiming that people of the central region of Malawi, are in food crises caused by man-made thieving activities of the MCP senior members.
“Affordable Input Programme (AIP) beneficiaries used to access bags of fertilizer in March- April, when the maize had reached tasseling stage for five years, Food was not a priority by the MCP but thieving in government,” said Kaliza.
