Hon. Mary Navicha has expressed gratitude to Vice President Dr Jane Ansah and Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika for their promise to abolish school fees once elected into government on 16 September 2025.
She noted that this policy would be a major relief for many Malawians, especially poor families who struggle to meet education costs.
Navicha said the move would open opportunities for more children to access quality education without financial barriers.
She made these remarks in Thyolo during a whistle-stop tour on Monday, 11 September 2025.
Her comments drew applause from the gathered crowd, reflecting strong public interest in the proposed education reform.
