Malawi Freedom Network Office of the President and Cabinet has ordered the Inspector General of Police to impound government vehicles as a last solution to ensure there are enough vehicles for use at the Region 5 Youth Games Malawi hosts from December 2-11 this year.
“Efforts to mobile the required number of vehicles through circular letters from this office have not yielded the required number of vehicles from government ministries, departments and agencies,” reads part of the memo dated 28th November 2022.
