The Malawi National Netball Team (Queens) have taken pole position in the Cosana Tri-Nations Games following their hard-fought 47-35 win over Zimbabwe.

The Queens had to come from behind to claim the victory having trailed The Gems 9-8 at the end of the first quarter.

They then took a two-goal lead at the break before winning the match by a margin of 12 goals.

The win means the Queens top the standing following four straight wins having beaten Namibia earlier in the day.

Malawi and Zimbabwe will face off again this morning from 11 am.
