Banda on Chawinga’s shoulders

Zambian deadly forward, Barbra Banda, has scored her 13th goal of the season in USA as her side, Orlando Pride beat Bay FC 1-0 in the National Women’s Soccer League on Saturday.

Banda scored the winner on 84th minute to outclassed Racheal Kundananji’s side in the match.

She is set to become the 6th ever player to reach 15 goals in a season in USA if she scores two goals in the remaining five games in the League, having seen Malawian Temwa Chawinga breaking that record already this season.

Meanwhile, she is still chasing for the golden boot against Chawinga who netted her 16th goal earlier today in Kansas City Current’s 3-0 win over Washington Women.
