Kalindo set for UTM convention

Uncomfirmed reports indicates that human rights activist and cum politician Hon Bon Kalindo will contest for UTM November slated convention.

A former parliamentarian will contest for the party’s General Secretary post replacing incumbent SG Dr Patricia Kaliati who is moving for the party’s presidency.

Kalindo a UTM pioneer who championed Chilima Movement in 2018 which gave birth to UTM has decided to take the slot after 3 years break in active politics.

Currently no one have publicly announced contention for Secretary’s office post despite rumors that incumbent Publicity secretary Hon Felix Njawala and Mr Julius Jere are eying for the same post.
