A concerned citizen of Malawi Nester Black teacher, has called on President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera to accept that he is now former President of the Republic of Malawi.

Black teacher said Chakwera is not alone that he is former President, others are Dr. Bakili Muluzi and Dr. Joyce Banda, and they have to respect fully the government of the day which has the authority to rule.

He said Malawi is a small country, Chakwera should not bring in politics of division in the country for others to be thinking that Chakwera was the best President than all.

Speaking through a video clip, Black teacher said MCP and President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera by holding a parallel function to honour Dr. Hastings Kamuzu Banda’s official birthday at the Kamuzu Mausoleum, was a very big mistake deliberately done.

Black teacher has urged MCP members and supporters who speaks the truth that taking Chakwera to lay a wreaths at Kamuzu Mausoleum which is under government protection, is not respecting the government in power.

He said family members of the late Kamuzu Banda including Leader of Opposition Simplex Chithyola Banda were attending the very same function saying it was better for the MCP to organize a parallel party remembrance some where and not where the government had organized remembrance Day for Kamuzu Banda.

The concerned citizen has reminded the MCP that when Dr. Saulosi Chilima and eight others, were tragically killed in a plane crash in the Chikangawa forest on 10th June, 2024 all the programs of the day were being released by government in consultation with the families of the deceased saying the same could have happened with remembrance Day for Kamuzu Banda.

” Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika accepted although painfully that he has lost the elections, he went to live in Mangochi outside Lilongwe, Chakwera could have done the same,” said Black teacher.

He said President Chakwera had a good five years of governing the country but he messed up the country by taking it to the bush and Mutharika has taken the country from the bush back to where it was, Chakwera and the MCP are coming to destroy the good things that Mutharika is doing to the country.

Writing on his face book page, JB has told the MCP and President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera not to complain that they were tear – gassed by unprofessional police of President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika reminding them that when they were in government they were doing the same tear – gassing people.

And Manice Abiti William Dawood has thanked the Malawi Police for tear – gassing Dr. Lazarus Chakwera and his MCP describing them as enemies of progress saying they are there to underrate and undermine the DPP led government forgetting that government is government, is more powerful than the opposition itself.

Abiti William Dawood said the Police in Malawi have done something small, they would have slapped them on their faces so that they respect the government of the day.
