Press Corporation Backs IIAM Governance Conference with K10 Million Platinum Sponsorship

Press Corporation plc (PCL) has reaffirmed its commitment to promoting sound corporate governance in Malawi by providing a K10 million platinum sponsorship towards the 2026 Governance Forum and Annual Conference organised by the Institute of Internal Auditors in Malawi (IIAM).

Speaking during the cheque presentation ceremony in Blantyre, PCL Corporate and Public Affairs Manager Rehanna Rice said the sponsorship reflects the company’s strong belief that effective governance is essential for sustainable business growth and long-term success.

Rice said governance should be viewed as more than a regulatory or compliance obligation, describing it as the cornerstone of sustainable growth, stakeholder confidence and long-term value creation.

IIAM Chief Executive Officer Albert Dambula welcomed the sponsorship, describing it as a significant boost to preparations for the conference and a reflection of the private sector’s growing commitment to strengthening governance and assurance practices in Malawi.
