President Lazarus Chakwera is expected to grace the inauguration ceremony of the Saulos Klaus Chilma-SKC Foundation on 12 February 2025 at Bingu International Conference Centre in Lilongwe.

Speaking in an interview with Our News Platform Mw, Spokesperson for State House, Anthony Kasonda said this highly anticipated event marks a major milestone in the foundation’s journey to make a positive impact on the lives of Malawians.

The SKC Foundation, established by Mary Chilima, wife to the late Saulos Chilima aims to address some of the most pressing challenges facing Malawi, including education, healthcare, and economic empowerment.

Through its various programs and initiatives, the foundation seeks to provide opportunities for marginalized communities and promote sustainable development.

Kasonda said Chakwera’s presence at the inauguration ceremony is a testament to his administration’s commitment to supporting initiatives that drive positive change in Malawi.

“The President has consistently emphasized the importance of collaboration between government, private sector, and civil society in addressing the country’s development challenges,” he said.
