The announcement was made following a recent engagement linked to the BEAM Trust programme, which was officially launched in February under the patronage of Gertrude Mutharika, the former First Lady of Malawi.
The programme outlines a long-term development agenda running from 2026 to 2030, aimed at mobilizing support from individuals, businesses, and organizations to promote environmental cleanliness and social upliftment across the country.
In their statement, the Bushiris emphasized their continued interest in initiatives that uplift vulnerable communities and inspire hope among young people. They noted that their contribution is part of a broader effort to support national development goals and encourage a culture of giving among influential figures and the private sector.
