Vice President Dr. Michael Usi is set to preside over the official opening of the 2024 Engineering Conference in Mangochi this morning. The two-day event, hosted by the Malawi Engineering Institution (MEI), will bring together approximately 450 engineers from institutions across the country.

The discussions will center on how the engineering sector can contribute to realizing the vision of Malawi 2063, a strategic plan aimed at transforming Malawi into a middle-income economy by 2063.
