Blantyre — Deus Sandram, popularly known as Bwande, has intensified his campaign for the South Lunzu Constituency parliamentary seat, pledging to prioritize development projects that will transform the area.

Speaking during meetings with constituents on Wednesday, Sandram expressed concern over the challenges faced by primary school learners in Machinjiri who, after being selected to Chichiri Secondary School, are forced to walk long distances. He pledged that if elected, he would champion the establishment of a new secondary school in the area to make education more accessible to young people.

Sandram emphasized that his commitment to development is not new. Long before joining frontline politics, he was already involved in community initiatives, including spearheading the reinstallation of Luwanda Hospital—a move that brought critical healthcare services closer to residents.

He said his vision for South Lunzu Constituency centers on improving infrastructure, education, and healthcare, which he believes will collectively uplift the quality of life for people in the area.

“As your representative, I will work tirelessly to ensure South Lunzu gets the development it deserves,” Sandram assured his supporters
