More than a year after the tragic Dornier 228 plane crash that killed Malemu Chilima and eight others, Mary Chilima, wife of former Vice President Saulos Chilima, says the heartbreak is still unbearable.

“One year, six months. We still haven’t recovered, Saulos… A painful death. An incomprehensible death,” she wrote on social media, sharing her ongoing grief.

The government has reviewed reports on the crash, with a formal submission to the President expected soon, but for the families, the pain remains.
