The Unity for Transparency and Accountability ( UTA) has called the Malawi Congress Party (MCP), a party of terrorists claiming that this party should not exist on the ground in Malawi in line with the principles of democracy.
The UTA said the MCP under man of God – an ordained Priest of the Malawi Assemblies of God Church Dr. Lazarus Chakwera made 10th June, 2024 to be a painful day in Malawi following the tragic death of Dr. Saulosi Chilima and eight others, in the Chikangawa forest.Kamphangala calls for politicians out of Chilima’s inquiry
The organization said memories are still fresh that the MCP under Dr. Hastings Kamuzu Banda on 18th May, 1983 tragically murdered Dick Matenje, Aaron Gadama, Twaibu Sangala and David Chiwanga dumping their bodies at Thambani in Mwanza district.
Blessings Chaima Lozalio, a member of UTA, has warned the MCP not to taste tempers of angry Malawians that for two years have been waiting for answers from millions of questions raised on circumstances surrounding the tragic death of Dr. Saulosi Chilima and eight others.
Lozalio said the legally accepted function will be held on 13th June, 2026 to remember, and celebrate the life of Dr. Chilima at Nsipe in Ntcheu district.Parliamentary Probe Launched into Chikangawa Plane Crash
He said the MCP has not been invited to Nsipe and as such they are planning to conduct their own prayers at the Chilima’s tombstone to be followed by laying of wreaths.
The Activist has questioned the MCP why they want to lay wreaths to someone who they already killed and escorted for an early grave?
” This is a day of mourning, Why MCP why MCP killing innocent people because of power sharing terms of office,” said Chaima Lozalio.
He has appealed to Malawi Police Service ( MPS) to use force to disperse this terrorist party on Sunday 14th June, 2026 at Nsipe warning the MCP that Ntcheu is not a playing ground for the party.Kamphangala calls for politicians out of Chilima’s inquiry
The Activist has assured the MCP that even if the DPP fail to win the 2030 elections, Malawians will never and ever give a second chance to the MCP to bounce back into government.
He has made it clear that MCP is a party of death hence appealing to the Registrar of Political Parties in Malawi to deregister the MCP as an existing political party but to register it as a terrorist organization in Malawi.
