Why are government prosecutors being suspended for doing their job? Are some people in Malawi above the law because of what they do? Why was SKC, who has also been fighting for change, arrested without any questions from the State House?
The whole thing is so bizarre. Should the DPP get permission from the State President (and some embassies) before doing his job?
The law in Malawi is very fair and modern. If somebody has been arrested unfairly, the system will take care of itself. There is no need for the State President or Minister of Justice stepping in.
Malawi is not (and should not be allowed to be) a lawless country!
