The country’s football coaches body has asked the Football Association of Malawi (FAM) to review and take immediate action on Flames coach, Mario Marinica’s performance after a 4-0 humiliation at the hands of Egypt on Tuesday.
The association’s general secretary, Davie Mpima, said what happened on Tuesday was unacceptable and embarrassing to the country.
He said the team’s performance has been disappointing and there is a need to take quick action before the team regroups for the remaining matches against Ethiopia in June and Guinea.
