PP to hold elective conference in September

The embattled People’s Party (PP) has announced that it will hold its elective conference on 7th September, 2024 in Lilongwe.

National Publicity Secretary for PP, Ackson Kalaile Banda said this is one of the activities in preparation for the forthcoming 2025 tripartite elections.

Kalaile Banda explained in a statement that all positions are up for grabs.

Banda unveiled the party’s meticulous preparations for this momentous occasion.

He elucidated that every position within the party hierarchy will be fiercely contested, promising a spectacle of ambition and aspiration that is sure to captivate the nation.

PP is one of partners in the Tonse Alliance which is extremely affiliated to the ruling Malawi Congress Party-MCP.
